Marty Stuart is making the best music of his life as a veteran country star. His guitar and mandolin take him from country favorites through bluegrass standards to honky-tonk and gospel. He was recently inducted into the Music City Walk of Fame.
Scott Freeman
Scott Freeman grew up in Mt. Airy, N.C., playing bluegrass and gospel music with his brothers. He plays, arranges and writes songs, which have been recorded by some of the top touring bands in bluegrass music. He teaches fiddle and mandolin and is a resident musician at the music center, entertaining on Thursdays in the breezeway.
Admission is $20.
Evening concerts begin at 7 p.m. and end at 9 p.m. Concert seating starts at 5:30. Patrons are advised to bring lawn chairs, blankets, umbrellas and flashlights. Picnics are permitted. Ticket prices vary for weekend concerts in the outdoor amphitheater. In case of inclement weather, concerts will be held indoors at the nearby Fairview Ruritan Club. Pets are not permitted in the amphitheater area. Alcohol is not permitted anywhere in the park. Concessions are available on site.
