EULALIE is an old-time duo from Cleveland, Ohio and Stokes County, NC. They live and breathe heartfelt American roots music: vintage heart songs, fiddle tunes, old-time hymns, ballads, and country blues.
Stark, sweetly sentimental, or just plain fun, these old songs tell stories of people’s lives. Ron & Donna treat these treasures with the love and respect of honest, straightforward arrangements inspired by the old masters of porches, parlors, chicken coops and vaudeville stages.
With close, intertwining vocal harmonies and  a song-centered approach, their arrangements featuring banjo, guitar and fiddle honor original sources while giving each performance an intimate, contemporary immediacy. The warm, approachable style of Eulalie’s performances and recordings move deftly from country blues to traditional ballads; from old-time hymns to heart-songs and ragtime…always favoring emotional honesty over irony.
