Trish and Kevin Fore are two local prize-winning musicians. Trish is a champion banjo player, often getting the blue ribbon at area fiddlers’ conventions. She plays with The Grayson County Wildcats and also with the Mustard Cutters. Trish also plays a mean guitar.
Kevin is a fiddler, banjo player, and banjo builder. He builds and plays banjos in the style of Kyle Creed, a renowned luthier and musician from the Coal Creek area. Kevin has recently been tearing it up on the fiddle, winning prizes in individual competition and leading bands to also win contests, including taking first place band at the 2025 Galax Old Fiddlers’ Convention.

Midday Mountain Music is a FREE informal music presentation featuring local and regional artists. Midday Mountain Music is held from 12-3 p.m. on the covered breezeway every day the Blue Ridge Music Center visitor center is open. Join us for a few minutes or the whole afternoon. No tickets needed.
