The Leftover Biscuits

Midday Mountain Music with The Leftover Biscuits
Saturday, August 29, 12-3 p.m. | Covered Breezeway at Blue Ridge Music Center
Admission Free
In August 2021, five friends came together to form the group called: “Leftover Biscuits”. The group, which provides old-time string music from the Appalachian mountains, includes life-long, seasoned-musicians: Dr. Mark Handy (banjo, vocals), Joy Patton (fiddle, vocals), Roger Stamper (guitar, vocals), Tammy Martin (upright bass, vocals) and C.T. Janney (dance & washboard rhythm).
Honoring the music of past generations, Leftover Biscuits brings the sounds of toe-tapping dance tunes and sweet songs to its audiences. The old-time music that fills the mountains and valleys of Southwestern Virginia and Western North Carolina can also fill your next special event.
