The Glenwood Choppers play traditional acoustic music from around the North Carolina piedmont and southern Appalachians. Band members Molly Stouten, Alan Teichman, and Randy Johnson sing blues and early country and love to play fiddle tunes for dancing and listening.

Mabry Mill is the most photographed spot on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The old mill, cultural demonstrations, and tradition of Sunday afternoon music have drawn visitors to the location for decades. Milepost Music concerts are held the first and third Sunday of each month, June through September, outdoors near the sorghum shed.
