Milepost Music presents The McKenzies
Sunday, July 14, 2-4 p.m.
Peaks of Otter
Woody and Marcia McKenzie have been making music together since they were married in 1983. Residents of Virginia since 1985, they have entertained audiences throughout the U.S. and in Canada, Denmark and Belize with their unique blend of contemporary and original folk, traditional music of southern Appalachia and the British Isles, funny songs, and even some swing and jazz standards. They accompany their strong individual and duet vocals with a variety of instruments and encourage their audiences to sing along and make a joyful noise.
