Earl White and Tray Wellington

This video is a discussion between EARL WHITE and TRAY WELLINGTON.

EARL WHITE is a dancer and an old-time fiddler. An original and founding member of the famed Green Grass Cloggers, White’s energetic, rhythmic, driving fiddle style is attributed to many years of dancing with the group.

White plays fiddle with the Earl White Stringband and has a farm and bakery in Willis, Virginia.

TRAY WELLINGTON is a bluegrass banjo player from Ashe County, North Carolina. He started playing as a teenager, going to fiddlers’ conventions and playing with the band, Cane Mill Road, and has gone on to form the Tray Wellington Band.
